In order to have valid data to meet the hellenic constitution's deadlines, Hellenic Statistics Authority (HSA) ordered the electronic scanning of a part (6,000,000 pages) of 2011 National Census questionnaires, in a ultra-tight deadline of just 21 days.

The project was awarded to a jont venture of Realiscape Typorama and Business Imaging Systems S.A., and faced enormous challenges in both logistics, and workflow organization, since it was realized in HSA's premises.

9 scanning stations were implemented with average daily outcome of 33,000 pages per station, using single (8-hour) shifts.

The project was completed successfully ending one day earlier from the deadline.
